The southern group of troops successfully stopped an attempt by the Ukrainian military to attack near the city of Soledar in the Donetsk People's Republic. This was reported by the news agency RIA Novosti, referring to the commander of the artillery unit of the 200th brigade.

In a video released at night, filmed by an unmanned aerial vehicle, drone operators can be seen detecting the advance of a group of Ukrainian military who were trying to take up starting positions for the offensive.

"A group of up to 50 people was destroyed by 80%"- stressed a military source.

A few hours after this incident, another unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, up to 20 people, was found in the same area. This additional video, which also leaked online, captured the moment the new group was struck. As follows from the materials, the second group was also completely destroyed as a result of the actions of Russian troops.
